We are working to help essential workers on the front lines, and behind the scenes.
Our first group is workers supported by the CCAT, or Fresno’s Community Center for Arts and Technology. They work as farmers and field workers, who face dramatic temperature changes and long work days. They’ll drive hours and hours to help us food on our plates, and go to work in packed buses - where they are unable to social distance. These are the people who are keeping our state running behind the scenes, and providing food for the families of California. A lot of them lack insurance, and are high at risk for contracting COVID-19. By giving them masks, we’re giving a voice to a group of people often forgotten.
