Supporting and appreciating the Essential Heroes in our community
The Essential workers in our communities are working hard to keep us safe in these unprecedented times. A youth-led initiative to express our appreciation for everything that our Essential Heros do for us, The Essential Heroes Campaign would greatly benefit with your help!
We recognize that not everyone has the time or resources to do make and put up a sign so we have made it very easy! We can provide signs that you can print at home, or if there is no printer available, we can drive by your home and set it up for you!
Do the kids have a lot of spare time because school has been moved online? They can make a sign to show their thanks for the essential workers in our community!
Tell people you know about the campaign. This will allow us to raise more awareness about what we are doing which will help us reach more essential workers with support!
Any amount helps, and all proceeds go towards 3D printing materials so that we can 3D print masks, as well as using donated funds to buy food from and support a variety of local businesses (specifically following our initiative to support Black-owned small businesses) and to use that food to feed hospital workers around the Bay Area. We have currently raised a little over $3,000 from our giving community out of our goal of $10,000. Any amount helps!

As a youth led group, we are always looking for more passionate high schoolers who want to volunteer!
We are working with farmers in Fresno who are keeping our communities running behind the scenes, and providing food for the families of California.
We are also working with various hospitals in the bay area. Read more in our blog post titled Our Essential Heroes!
Together, we have donated over 200 masks to essential heroes. Together, we have raised more than 3,00 dollars.
Together, we can support and show our appreciation for the amazing essential heroes risking their lives so that we can social distancing and stay safe.
